About Peggy
Peggy Coppler holds a B.S. in Music Education from Taylor University as well as a M.A. in Music from Ball State University. She taught Kindermusik from 1991 to 2010 and now offers Musikgarten early childhood classes. She is fully certified in Musikgarten curriculum.
She holds an Indiana State Teacher's License and has taught music in the public schools at levels K-9. The Peggy Coppler Studio of Music for private and group piano instruction has been in operation for more than 30 years. She is a fully certified teacher of piano with the Music Teacher's National Association (MTNA), and is a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers (presently serving as local chair and adjudicator). She serves as music coordinator/organist at Grace United Methodist Church in Kokomo.
Peggy is an accomplished classical singer having studied voice alongside piano since 8th grade and through university. She has continued to study as an adult with Lynn Luciano at Indiana University and with Denise Ritter Bernardini at the University of Toledo. She is currently singing with the Madrigal Singers in Wabash and with the Bach Collegium in Fort Wayne.
Peggy has three children: Courtlan and daughter-in-law Alison (Chesterton, IN), Cary and daughter-in-law Stephenie (Peru, IN), and Kendra and son-in-law Jason (Anderson, IN). Peggy has eight grandchildren: Brady, Annaliese, Amaziah, Averie, Ezra, Leland, Elijah and Ellianna.
